Priyanka R Khanna grew up in Mumbai and graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York with a major in Sociology and a minor in Comparative Literature. Post graduation, she worked in the public relations department at Hearst Magazines in New York on publications including O, The Oprah Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, CosmoGirl! and Seventeen. She returned to Mumbai and joined the launch team of Vogue India, where she spent 15 years, most recently as the Fashion Features Director, overseeing fashion related content across digital and print.
Khanna who was first published in The Hindu at the age of 16, has over the course of her career profiled designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Ralph Lauren, Haider Ackermann, Peter Dundas, Isabel Marant, Sabyasachi, and Tarun Tahiliani to name a few, artists like Pharell Williams, actors like Salma Hayek, Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor Khan and many more.
Her debut novel All The Right People released in November 2022 with Penguin India and Khanna continues to write and speak on art, fashion, design and parenting. Currently she lives in Mumbai with her husband and two children.
